Science Saturday

50 years ago, Americans huddled around their TVs to watch humans take the first steps on the moon! Since then space technology has come a long way. Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 with Thronateeska Heritage Center. Enjoy live coverage from NASA, a moon presentation by Jim Frise, and space technology-related science experiments from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. The live presentation will take place at 11:00 am and again 1:00 pm. This event is free and open to the public. Planetarium shows are $5.00 for non-members and free for members.

Location: Thronateeksa Heritage Center
