Fall Break Camp

Spend your break exploring the Park and Zoo in search of many autumn animals who call Chehaw home. Each day, campers will get to learn through daily Zoo visits, hands-on games and activities, crafts, animal encounters, and more. Camp is $30 per day and runs from 9a- 3p with a free early drop off at 8:30a. After-Camp Care is available from 3-6 pm for $10 per day, as always members receive half off After-Camp Care. Camper lunches can be purchased each day as well. Campers ages 4-12 are encouraged to join us for the best Fall Break ever! Go >

Chehaw's Traditional Skills Gathering is an extended weekend with experienced instructors teaching traditional primitive skills used by Native Peoples around the world. Skills taught might include flintknapping, fire by friction, cordage, bone tools, bows and arrows, atlatls and darts, blowguns, edible and medicinal plants, shelter, fishing technologies, traps and snares, basketry, pottery, brain-tan buckskin, twined bags, finger weaving, and more! Creative Courage: A Safe Space Event

Creative Courage: A Safe Space Event

People often use creativity as a form of self-expression. We are bringing the community together to create together! We will be hosting a FREE event with an open mic for attendees to express themselves through singing, rapping, spoken word/poetry, interpretive dance, etc. We will also be setting up paint stations for attendees to express themselves through art. Plus a canvas roll dedicated to an "In Memoriam" to honor those who've lost their battle with mental illness.
