Start your day with a delicious cup of coffee at Cornerstone, check out all the wonderful offerings of the Good Life City and head on down to the brewery from 1-7pm to explore over 30 local vendors. From farmers, creators, artists and more, we aim to support small, local businesses by providing a space to gather and share. Enjoy live music, fun activities and grab a bite from local food trucks! After School Art Club: Middle & High School

On multiple days

After School Art Club meets in the AMA Classroom on the last Monday of the month from September through May (there is no December class). The Monday sessions are geared toward middle and high school students. Courses begin with a focus on building fundamental drawing skills. Students will be taught basic techniques, such as shading, controlling tones, composition, and drawing methods. This will progress to learning how to recreate an image on paper using pencils, charcoal, chalk pastels, and/or oil pastels. Go >

Toddler Takeover

Every 1st Tuesday of the month, this program is designed for kids 15 months to 3 years old, Toddler Takeover combines a story, gallery visit and art project for the AMA's youngest visitors and parents. Siblings are welcome too! Toddler Takeover is free for AMA members and $5 for non-members. Go >

Yoga in the Gallery

229 Yoga leads Yoga in the Gallery on the last Friday of every other month at the Albany Museum of Art. It's a great way to stretch your art experience and to end your month refreshed and renewed. Yoga in the Gallery is free for AMA members, and $10 per session for future members. Go >

Laura Cetilia: Immersive Cello Concert

Join us at the future home of the Albany Museum of Art at a unique and immersive listening experience that performer Laura Cetilia composed specifically for the acoustic properties of the Belk building. Along with live cello and voice, the music will consist of a diffusion of sound through an array of small wireless speakers placed throughout the cavernous space of the former department store. Despite the raw and unfinished surroundings, listeners will be transported to a sound world that conveys an ethereal yet intimate atmosphere. This is a free event open to the public.
